Danielle’s love for photography started back in high school while working for yearbook. She went on to earn her degree in zoology at UC Davis. She worked throughout college with the Sacramento Zoo, Primate Research Center, and as a bartender to pay her way through school.
When Danielle finished college, she decided to go to graduate school and earn her K-8 credentials. She moved to San Rafael and worked as a PE teacher and Athletic Director during the day while attending night school a Chapman University. Once credentialed Danielle worked at Marin Primary School and Middle School in Larkspur for 10 years.
When Danielle stepped away from teaching to start a family, she had the time to work on her passion, photography. In 2000 she started Buoncristiani Photography. Her love for children, animals, family, and photography make her especially perfect for Family and Generation portraits.
Aside from photography Danielle loves to help her community through volunteer work. Site Leadership in Elementary, working in her sons’ classrooms, being an Assistant Boy Scout Leader for 5 years and being a member of the Ross Valley Women’s League are just a few of the ways Danielle helps her community.
Danielle and her family currently live in Marin county where she has resided for 30 years. When she’s not working or volunteering Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, two sons, Leo and Dante, and their dog Tucker. She also loves to read, garden, hike, camp, entertain, cook and occasionally go wine tasting with friends.
