Chicken Thighs, Sausages and Olives!

ITALIAN CHICKEN THIGHS

SAVOR THE FLAVOR

WITH NONNIE

There are so many delicious recipes to share but Chicken Thigh, Sausage, and Olives is an all-time favorite. Nonnie often makes it and puts the pan in the middle of the table for everyone to dip their bread in the sauce family style.  The chicken thighs are so tender you do not even need a knife.  This past weekend I made a triple recipe since I have my college-aged sons home taking their classes remotely.  The boys tend to need a 1 am. snack often so the more food I have prepped the better.  I also like to freeze a few meals for the days when we don't have time to cook.

The last time I prepared this meal my father-in-law Nonno reminded me to not boil the sausages too much since it can take some of the flavor away.  Honestly, I had not even thought about that too much.  I learn something new from Nonnie and Nonno each time I cook for them.  Luckily we get together once a week or more so there are plenty of times to pick up new hints!

This past weekend I also made fresh Olive and Rosemary Bread….yummmm.  A great side item when you make a sauce perfect for dipping.  Hope you enjoy it!  Click the button below if you would like the recipe!

Take care,

Danielle
